Wednesday 17th July 2013 sees the annual Colne Grand Prix, the rapid cycle race round Colne town centre.
Tricia Wilson of Pendle Council is asking local cycling clubs to provide marshals for the event. Club representatives please contact Tricia with a list of volunteers from your club using: tricia.wilson@pendle.gov.uk.
Fantastic FREE EVENT includes:
- 6.45pm – Cycle Sport Pendle (CSP) young riders lap
- 7pm – Support race with up-and-coming riders
- 7.45pm – Chopper dash – Le Mans style! Chopper jousting and Bradley Wiggins style sideburns competition
- 8pm – Colne Grand Prix
- 9pm – Grand Prix presentations and meet Steven Burke, Colne’s gold medal champion!
The first race starts at 7pm.
