The circuit series will run from Thursday the 16th April 2015 for 14 weeks. The aim of the series is to provide a competitive youth race, a race suitable for new racing cyclists and a race for serious racers, and a women’s only race subject to demand.

2nd July 2015 Programme Change

Due to the Skipton Town Centre event, there will be Cat 3/4 race ONLY, no Youth or E12 event that night.

 

Entry is ON THE DAY only, no advance entry.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The programme has changed from the initial publication, please see below.

Race Format 

Youth A/B/C. 20-30 minutes. There will be a short time interval between the start of each age category.

Cat 4 only C+ Band 5. 25 minutes + 5 laps. This is intended for less experienced riders. The maximum field size will be 40.

E123  C+ Band 5.  50 minutes + 5 laps. Aimed at more experienced riders. The maximum field size will be 50.

NOTE: Race distances are subject to change on the night.

Depending on demand, a ladies only race may be included in the programme within the series.

Rounds 1 and 2 AND 3 and 4 (due to light conditions at round 1)

The first FOUR rounds will be as follows:

18:30: Youth race
19:30: E123 race.

There will be no Cat4 race for the first 4 rounds.

Round 5 Onward (14th May 2015)

18:30: Youth race
19:15: Cat4 race
20:00: E123 race.

Access and Parking

Please see the map showing directions (pdf) to The Steven Burke Hub from junctions 13 and 14 off the M65. Parking is restricted so please adhere to the following information.

Event HQ, sign on, refreshments and toilet facilities will be at the CSP club room off Cravendale Ave. Nelson BB98SJ

  • Visiting riders please park at C on the map, event HQ CSP club room, off Cravendale Ave. Nelson BB98SJ In the event this car park becomes full  please park sensibly along Cravendale Ave. and Regent St. D
  • Race officials, volunteers and CSP riders please park via Wilton St, Barrowford, Bullholme car park A or car park B adjacent to the circuit gates.

Please do not upset our neighbours by blocking drives

Youth D and E

Cycle Sport Pendle will be organising Go-Ride Races over summer for youth D and E riders separately to the Thursday crits. Please watch out on the CSP website and Facebook page for information.
