The BMX track

The new 400m BMX pump track opened in 2018, a new section of the Steven Burke Sports hub. The British Cycling approved pump track contractor Dirtworks has built a very unique pump track using the natural enviroment.

There is an inner track for beginners, and a smaller trials bike area for riders to perfect their skills.

When is it open?

It is open to the public for free, apart from when specific sessions are booked for private use.

It is booked most Saturday mornings by CSP throughout the year.

Safety

Safety is important. Riders are required to have appropriate equipment including a suitable helmet,  and a bike suitable for the pump track environment. Riders should always have someone with them in case of any accident.

The track is suitable for riders from 6 or 7 years of age, depending on their skills.
